Quite an inspiring story. Of course the story has just begun. It would be good to follow his story as it unfolds.

It’s not everyday one encounters a fresh grad who’s offered RM5K+ and turns it down for a stab at dotcom glory.

Timothy Tiah is a Penangite, an investment banker by qualification.

He cofounded of tuitionhamster.com, mentioned in TheStar some time back.

True, some people might sneer that he can afford to do this due to his safety net – he’s not exactly poor (his dad’s rich enough to send him to do his degree in London, that can easily cost RM100,000 per year!), but still, the spirit’s admirable.
