A demonstration was organised by the Coalition for Free and Fair Elections (Bersih) on Saturday 10th of November 2007, which called for more transparency in Malaysia’s next general election. It did not get the required police permit.

What transpired then, when the police intervened in that early afternoon, was reported on national / international TV, with different viewpoints.
