Malaysians’ biggest money worries: cost of living, salary and debt

It was reported in The Star on 14th January 2010 that the top 3 financial worries of the average Malaysian are cost of living, salary changes and personal debt.

Topping the worry league is cost of living, with 69% of survey respondents saying they were “extremely concerned”. The other 2 scored 62% and 59% respectively.

That means things like worrying about the value of retirement funds, fluctuating interest rates and diet pill side effects took back seats.

The survey was conducted on 5,520 people 18 to 65 years old.
