Malaysia’s most expensive car plate number cost more than RM200,000
As was reported in The Star on 9th November 2009, the most expensive number plate in Malaysia is for a car registered in the state of Terengganu and owned by a businessman in another state: Johor.
The number: TAN 1
Price: RM200,090
Whoa, he’s got bigger worries than blackheads on nose!
This is way higher than the minimum price for a “Premier Value Number”: RM2,000. There are other lower categories, “Interesting Number” (goes for a minumum of RM800) and “Popular Number” at RM200.
