Pirate music website operator earned USD18,000 per month

It was reported by the BBC on 13th January 2010 that Alan Ellis, 26 of the UK received USD18,000 a month in “donations” from users who used his pirate music website, Oink. These users paid so that they can invite their friends to join in.

USD18K per month! That is more than enough to get the most effective weight loss pills in the world!

At its peak had 200,000 members and recorded 21 million downloads.

It was shut down in 2007.
