The only entertainment franchises to earn more than USD1 billion in revenue

The BBC reported on 13th January 2010 that video game Modern Warfare 2 has joined the elite club of entertainment franchises to rake in in excess of USD1 billion in revenue.

Wow, the game makers could surely give its employees phentermine without a prescription free of charge!

It’s simply mind boggling: in it’s first 5 days it made more than USD500 million!

The other members of the billion-dollar club are:
(i) Guitar Hero III (game)
(ii) World of Warcraft (game)
(iii) Avatar (movie)
(iv) Titanic (movie), at USD1.8 billion the all-time champion
(v) The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (movie)
(vi) Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest (movie)
