There is an article in Sin Chew Daily on 22nd April 2010 that says Singaporean women does not want to date men who earn less than them, even if they looked like Brad Pitt.
It claimed that a survey was carried out by online television Razor TV among Singaporean women, which found that men earning at least S$8,000 (RM19,200) were deemed sexy, even if he was physically ugly.
Hence, it can be concluded that sexiness in a man is not dictated by how attractive he looks, but by his earning power.
The survey was carried out by showing photos of 3 men and showing them to ladies on the streets, then asking them to say what they think both before and after disclosing the men’s monthly salaries and/or car used, even perhaps type of laptop preferred.
Generally, the women interviewed defended themselves by saying that “men’s income reflected their personality.” Well, what do you think? Personally I have met obnoxious high earners.

This post is only relevant for those pursuing legal education in the USA. Of course you’re welcome to read on if you want to know what this is all about anyway…
Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a 4-times-yearly test / examination conducted in the USA, Canada & Australia for those wishing to enter law school in those countries.
Basically it rewards skills in logical and verbal reasoning. Well, I suppose other fields also require competence in these 2 things?
Anyway, the exam is divided into 6 parts:
- 4 scored parts
- an “experimental” part
- writing
To take the test in the US, be prepared to fork out USD136. That’s no small dough, so get ready by doing lots of lsat preps.

It was reported in Utusan Malaysia on 5th October 2009 that twenty and thirtysomething women of the flesh from Uzbekistan would enter Malaysia in groups of 3 or 4 on either student or tourist visas which are valid for 3 months.
They would then “work” for RM1,000 to RM1,500 per “session” in Kuala Lumpur for at least 5 “sessions” a day, 5 days a week. That translates to a staggering RM100,000 a month.
And that is only for “service charge.” The cost of hotel, food and clothing are all additional costs: supposed to be borne by the customer.
That means only a select few could afford them. The ladies would simply brush off advances of those whom they perceive to be less in the money.
Never mind that most of them can’t speak a word of English, what more Bahasa Malaysia.
Their income enables them to maintain a lifestyle far more lavish than most people in Malaysia. They would not normally be found roaming the roadside, but rather could be found inside nightspots. It is not known whether they use live chat software to initiate communication with potential customers.
The unsaid yet prevailing urban culture seems to be that men who are found to have one of these ladies in their arm are considered cool.
Apparently the most expensive of all the hookers available locally, even costlier than China Dolls, they are renowned for their “red cheeks.” Add to that mix beauty, youth, height and sexy figure (due to the mysterious-sounding
irvingia gabonensis perhaps), they are in a league of their own as compared to prostitutes from other countries. In other words, whereas westerns would view orientals as exotic, orientals would view these Uzbek dolls the same way.
However, the Chief of Immigration, Datuk Abdul Rahman Othman was quoted to have said that their pretty faces belie their hot tempered, violent inner selve. Reports have been received on men who were kicked by the ladies after failing to settle the agreed amount.
Interestingly, only a decade ago these “white horse ladies” were not in vogue locally. But tastes change.
After their visa is over, they’d leave Malaysia, go to another country in the region and continue their ways there.
If they kept at it for 10 years, they’d have made more than RM10million !!!
Since 2005 up to 30th September 2009, 211 Uzbekistan women have been arrested.
No wonder they kept coming!

Bernama reported on 21st May 2008 that former Ustaz Zulkifli Yaacob, 44 is a livestock entrepreneur in Pasir Mas, Kelantan earning RM50,000 per month.
He operates the “Sunnah Ternak” goat farm at Kampung Rong Chenok.
His 450 square feet [I'm not sure if this is a typo or not] farm is apparently the largest goat farm in Malaysia and has about 2,500 goats of various species. Not bad for a farm which started only 1 year ago with 500 animals.
He has 15 workers comprising farm hands, veterinarian, manager and accountant.
They all stay at the quarters located at the centre of the farm. They need to be at the farm round-the-clock to keep watch over the livestock.
Zulkifli said he started with an initial capital of RM1.5 million to set up the farm.
His motivation to start the farm: to turn Kelantan into the country’s major mutton producer.
The animals are kept in two huge enclosures built at the cost of RM900,000. Each hold over 1,000 goats.
Breeds at the farm include Jamnapari Anglo and Jamnapari Cross.
He also has some sheep from the Barbados: Pull Marino and Dambagarul breeds.
Zulkifli also practises the “pawah system”: sharing his livestock with others, particularly the unemployed graduates: allowing 5 pregnant nanny goats to be reared by an individual. After they give birth, they are taken them back but the individual is allowed to keep the kid goats as livestock. So far, 250 animals at his farm goats were bred under the pawah system.
I think he can even afford to fade stretch marks on the goats’ bellies.
He plans to increase the number of livestock to 20,000 over the next 5 years and to turn the farm into a safari-style tourist destination.
A course on commercial goat rearing would be held at the farm from June 2008: open to all. Fee: RM180 per person, room and board included. For unemployed graduates the fee is even cheaper: RM50. Interested? Call him at 019-9678787.

As revealed in the Dewan Rakyat on 8th May 2008 by Zulkifli Noordin (PKR – Kulim Bandar Baru):
The government is paying a total of RM1.14 million each year to 3 government advisers:
- Petronas adviser Dr Mahathir Mohamad: RM180K per year => RM15K per month
- Women and Social Development Affairs adviser to Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi: Datuk Shahrizat Abdul Jalil: RM404,726 per year = >RM30,000 per month
- Religious adviser to the PM: Datuk Abd Hamid Othman: RM549,675 per year => >RM45,000 per month.
How’s that for allowance as “mere” advisers? Gourmet food beckons: they’d better start reading up on apidexin reviews before the pounds start to pack up!

There are regional variations in the meaning of wealth the world over.
According to Barclay’s Wealth Insights study, released May 2010, which interviewed 2,000 people from 20 countries with assets of at least USD1.5 million:
Most agreed that:
- wealth enables them to have the best products, like purchasing Moen kitchen faucets instead of Cuckoo Brand made in China ones
- wealth gives them freedom of choice in their life
- wealth is a reward for hard work
Differences found:
- Asians and Latin Americans more likely to say “wealth allows me to get respect from friends and family”
- U.S. and Latin Americans more likely to give to charity.
- Asians and Latin Americans more likely to say wealth made them happy.
- Asians and Latin Americans more likely to say the rich “set an important example to others to be successful.”
- Europeans more likely to spend on travel and interior decorations.
- Latin Americans more likely to spend on education
- Americans more likely to give to charity (meaning they are the most generous?)

Classic rags to riches (and back to rags?) story.
It was reported in April 2010 that Huang Guangyu, 40 was a school drop-out who became China’s richest man by painstakingly building GOME Group, his very own electronics and home appliance empire for almost 30 years, the second largest electronics chain in the country with more than 1,300 stores.
By 2005, he was listed by TIME as the richest man in China. According to Hurun Institute, by 2008 he was worth USD6.3 billion.
Unfortunately, in May 2010, he was sentenced to 14 years’ imprisonment due to “insider trading and bribery.”
Some could say, the youthful Huang would still look young when he’s released at 54 – the face creams can wait – and can still work his way back up.
