Malaysia Airlines (MAS) pilots can earn almost RM28,000 a month
It was reported by The Star on 27th May 2010 that there’s a court case involving 3 senior pilots with Malaysia Airlines (MAS) who handled the Boeing 747s – meaning they must be the best paid of all pilots in the airline.
In the court case, their salaries as of March 2006 were revealed. They all joined MAS between 1975 & 1979, meaning they’d served MAS for more than 20 years each, and they all held the post of Pilot Captain B747-400:
(i) Azlan Zainal Abidin, 54
(ii) Ahmad Kamil Shahperi Shahibi, 50
(iii) Samsudin Zainol Abidin, 56.
Each had a last drawn salary of more than RM27,000.
They were all dismissed by their employer in 2006 for “breach of contract” – well probably the only way they could match their previous salaries is by getting jobs in south jersey…
