Twentysomething couple with 4 yr old son started blogging about their experience in Feb 2006.

They even give detailed report of their monthly expenses, down to the last detail eg, “USD37 on cigarettes this month.”

Reason for blogging it: “to help keep us on the right track.”

They had over USD37,000 in credit card debt when they started blogging.

By 26th October, it’s gone down to USD26,000+

Their target is to pay off all their credit card debt by 1st May, 2009.

Some income towards that comes from adsense and affiliating, although I haven’t read their blog in more detail to find out what else they’re doing to generate income.
