It was rerecorded in 1988 and released as a single, becoming his no.1 hit on the Japanese singles chart. He’s one of the best selling male Japanese singer-songwriters ever.

A most beautiful music from Japanese artiste Kokia. To me, this shows that you don’t need to be able to understand a word of the lyrics - what truly matters is the melody. Produced 1999, I heard the song for the first time April 2007. Apparently this is not the original music video, but rather taken from an anime movie entitled “”beyond the clouds, our promised place.” It does not matter anyway - the match, the mood, everything is absolutely perfect.
